Wine Preservation

Preserve the Remainder of the Bottle for a Few Days

In order to preserve what is left in a bottle of wine for a few days, you must remove or displace as much of the air in the bottle as possible.

Basically there are 2 ways to do this

  • Pump The Air Out or
  • Displace the Air with Inert Gas such as Argon that will not oxidize them wine.
Don't do Both! If you use inert gas, just firmly cap the bottle with a SEALING STOPPER such as the Metrokane 6115 or VacuVin 1880450
